The Good Karma Hospital is about to wrap filming for a third series. My guess is it will premiere in early spring. Thank you to two friends of British TV who informed me of this on the same day ! It's wonderful to have a network of friends who keep me up to date and on my toes !!

Watched this charming film from Australia last night, about the women who work in a department store in Sydney in 1959. Lovely little film.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas & New Year !

Being a fan of Agatha Christie I'm sure I will enjoy this. Agatha & The Truth Of Murder is a new variation on what might have happened during her disappearance in 1926. Ruth Bradley portrays her in this film for television.

Will be watching this tonight, it has received  positive reviews and Keira Knightley is always a pleasure to watch.

I always treat myself to a little something at this time of year, this year it's The Crown Season 2 which will be a nice companion to Season 1. This release comes with plenty of Behind The Scenes extras. Looking forward to it !

I think this could be very interesting. Historian Lucy Worsley gives us an idea what this event would have been like. Airing on BBC2 Friday Dec. 21st.

One of my favorite films of the holiday season and it's a gem. I saw it once many years ago on CBC and loved it. Sadly it never played again. It was only available in the UK and they have a different region code then ours. While at the British Isles show in 2014 I was going through the racks of DVD's and there it was. I struck gold a lot that afternoon ! It is a beautifully told story about love, loss and family. I recommend it highly.

This has become a Christmas tradition for me. The Mischief Theater Company's productions of Peter Pan Goes Wrong and A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong. A very talented group of young actors and some very familiar faces. Great fun !

Is there a rift or a feud going on ? Well, I would say there is probably some truths to all these rumors. I've heard the word "controlling"  used a lot in these stories. I almost fell over when a friend of mine called The Duchess Of Success (depends on who you talk to)  the Yoko Ono of our time !  Staff quitting, meddlesome family from away. It's a bit of a mess. Remember, everyone thought Fergie was a breath of fresh air until she wasn't. Time will tell in this never ending saga !

The Queen Times Two. A friend told me about this recently, Samantha Bond who played Lady Rosamund in Downton Abbey will play Elizabeth in The Queen And I airing Christmas Day. The plot revolves around what happens to The Royal Family when they are kicked out of the palace and are forced to live in a council flat ! A comedy no doubt. As I was looking for a photo I found this. Emma Thompson as The Queen in Walking The Dogs from 2012. Based on a true incident that took place in 1982. Will be on the hunt for this !

Starting this winter Call The Midwife Season 8 and The Crown Season 3. As much as I enjoyed the first 2 seasons of The Crown, it will be hard to see new actors in these parts. Olivia Coleman as The Queen and Helena Bonham Carter as Margaret. The question for me is would Margo be pleased !

Where have I been for the past year ? I've been here just not here ! But I'm back so let's go ! I just finished watching this tense drama based on real life events. Ruth Wilson plays her own grandmother in this tale of deception and ultimate betrayal. Superb !
